A double performance of two one-man-shows with similar thematics and approach. A work of choreographic and vocal self-analysis, constantly updated, directed in a way to be constantly in a direct relationship with the public.
Thylax is a performative experience with speech, bodily states and dance. It was created with a strong intuition, the conviction that a sensitive relationship with our bodies contributes to the emancipation of the individual. It participates in the deconstruction of our cultural prejudices, our reductionisms and our ego- and ethno-centrisms. It stimulates us to invent new sensitive postures towards the world, to recharge our batteries, to refocus. It leads us towards a dynamic of constant redefinition, psychologically and socially.
Orange Bear Lights is a kind of autobiographical one-man-show inspired by both psychoanalysis and from ecstatic states. A game with one’s self that contains raw impulses, grotesque situations, and self-sarcasm. Originally inspired by a poem of personal automatic writing that touches on various topics dear to the author : religion, the separation between dancers and non-dancers, the separation of body and mind, the male versus the female, education, the manipulation of public opinion, happiness.
