Praxagora and the Aristofuns…

Springtime is approaching and humanity keeps surprising us with good and bad news from the around the globe.

We’re tired but not exhausted. We’re still inspired and full of desire for new paradigm in our mutating societies. Our creations in Newtopia 3.5 can prove our intentions. We have six more rehearsals to go till the premiere on May 4th.

Praxagora.nu, an inclusive dance project, has matured slowly since September 2014, to become a complex composition that astounds even its authors…Dance, poetry and drums, improvised songs, Aristophane’s edited texts, semi-virtual demonstrations and sleek costumes will not leave you indifferent.

Moon Eaters was a creative explosion accomplished in just 9 rehearsals! Well, almost : the dancers had read the texts and prepared some material before the arrival of Dimitri Tsiapkinis at the YSJU in York (UK). It was presented in various colleges throughout Yorkshire (UK) in March and April.
