Keely Sigot :
… began her training by lyrical singing at the beginning of the 2000s (Clermont-Ferrand Conservatory), then turned towards jazz and improvisation (Jazz à Tours and Conservatory of Tours). Very soon, she will draw on somatic methods such as the Feldenkraïs Method, the Alexander Method, and energy practices such as Yoga and Qi gong, to develop a personal approach to voice and singing, based on the consciousness of body, movement and sensations. Contemporary dance naturally accompanied her since her beginnings on the path of creation and teaching, through a very heterogeneous musical practice, where improvisation constitutes a link between dance and singing.
Since 2007, she has been dancing in contemporary dance associations based in the Touraine region (La lisière des Marges, LeTalweg, Omnivion), and had been performing the show “Hora Cero” with the Eleusis Company from 2011 to 2013. Presently, she continues her research on the Voice-Movement relationship by giving various workshops.
