2015!

Let 2015 be… :

The intensity of our projects during November-December, paperwork, and the transfer of our website to a new server kept us from being on time to post our news, but here they are at last! Positive results for Newtopia 2, humanly and artistically. An exciting project in collaboration with the University Hospital of Tours, psychiatric service. It could have been “better” with more availability of participants, but it would have been also a different project. Newtopia  is mainly this : creating from who-we-are with caring support and the resources available. You’ll come across the rigor of professionals with the passion of the non-professionals, while making scheduling and programming compromises. Newtopia is also assuming one’s fragility as well as one’s strength : being fully human? Welcoming our folly as well as our wisdom; following a treatment in psychiatry while mastering our creative impulses through movement. Authenticity remains at the heart of our concerns beyond any virtuosity : article by Pierre-Henri Ramboz (in French).

The video of our performance Strawberries-Indigo (Newtopia 2.1/ Dance and mental health 2014) is finally posted :

Same for the performances of Newtopia 2.2, but reinterpreted by the video editing talents of Mélanie Loisel :
