Looking <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">back to<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> all that we have produced this past season, we are <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">amazed\u00a0!<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> (for a report <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">o<\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">f our <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">2017<\/span> <span lang=\"fr-FR\">events <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">download:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"result_box1\"><\/a><span lang=\"en-US\">We <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">reviewed<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">o<\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">ur <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">creative and administrative <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">drive<\/span> <span lang=\"fr-FR\">that<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">promote our visions of the world<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> we share.<br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">D<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">ance has this function that transcends speech, while preserving the right to integrate it into <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">our<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> choreographic immersions. So where does this creative force come from?<\/span><a name=\"result_box2\"><\/a><span lang=\"en-US\">Non-<\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">conclusive<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> list of <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">some <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">(semi-)scholarly speculations in response to this (also semi-<\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">)<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">rhetorical question\u00a0<\/span>:<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">\u2022 <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">from the u<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">nconscious desires of the <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">authors<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> of <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">these<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> acts (uh&#8230;)<br \/>\n\u2022 <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">from <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">self-cradling<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">impulses <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">healing<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">failures in <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">our <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">narcissistic development (too Freudian?)<br \/>\n\u2022 <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">from <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">impulses of an extraterrestrial being who manipulates our neurons (<\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">why not\u00a0?!<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">&#8230;)<br \/>\n\u2022 <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">from <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">synchronicities of the local collective unconscious (too jungian?)<br \/>\n\u2022 <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">from <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">our civic and \/ or professional commitment (<\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">can<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> dance <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">be<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> political?)<br \/>\n\u2022 <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">from <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">intellectual <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">urge<\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">ncies<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> to ret<\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">model<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">-aestheticize our visions of the world (you remember Trinity in Matrix? The Beautiful-The True-The Good?<\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">)<br \/>\n<\/span>\u2022 <span lang=\"fr-FR\">from the<br \/>\n<\/span>\u2022 <span lang=\"fr-FR\">from\u2026<br \/>\n<\/span>\u2022 <span lang=\"fr-FR\">f\u2026.<br \/>\n<\/span>\u2022 <span lang=\"fr-FR\">&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>W<span lang=\"en-US\">e do not claim that artists &#8211; professionals or amateurs &#8211; are the only ones who care about the human creative force, so we let <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">YOU<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> complete the list. You can even share it with our team! We would love to <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">hear from<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Our world seems to be at an extremely important historical turning point and we feel we are in a constant state of urgency. Some people consider it as huge as the Renaissance&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Will we <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">inhabit<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> another body in this new paradigm? A body <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">liberated<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> from the dichotomy &#8211; always ubiquitous &#8211; between body and mind?<br \/>\nA global being, who respects <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">her\/<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">him-self by respecting h<\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">er<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> multiple intelligences, while <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">honouring<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> his <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">bonds<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> with the terrestrial communities? Human, animal, vegetable?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Experts warn us of a<\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">n<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> ecosystems collapse and\/or <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">that of <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">the global economy; will we be able to face our &#8220;demons&#8221;, heal our woes and create new worlds from our <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">richest<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> cultural <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">heritages<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">?<br \/>\nLet&#8217;s take time to make assessments, meet, contemplate on new possibilities and move towards <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">a <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> more benevolent, more supportive, more sensitive <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">global community<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Our Newtopia project is a drop in the ocean, but <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">as in<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> the hummingbird legend, we see <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">some <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">wonderful effects in our surroundings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"fr-FR\">So, w<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">e will continue our human and artistic adventure in September.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">A Big T<\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">HANK<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> Y<\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">OU<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> for the continued support: to our members, friends, partners and audience!<br \/>\nHave a <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">wonderful<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> summer!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dimitri Tsiapkinis<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Where do we get all this energy from?
